Kementerian Kesehatan (Kemenkes RI) melaporkan, varian influenza yang belakangan dijuluki 'super flu', yakni Influenza A (H3N2) subclade K, dipastikan sudah terdeteksi di Indonesia sejak 25 Desember 2025. Dokter spesialis paru dari RS Paru Persahabatan, Prof dr Agus Dwi Susanto, SpP(K) mengatakan, gejala yang muncul akibat infeksi subclade K dinilai lebih parah daripada flu biasa atau COVID-19.
