OKC is back in action on Wednesday in an NBA Cup quarterfinal showdown against the Phoenix Suns. The team provided an update on Gilgeous-Alexander before the game, and it’s good news for Thunder fans.

MINNEAPOLIS — The Phoenix Suns once again took down the Minnesota Timberwolves. Collin Gillespie sank two free throws with 6.3 seconds left in regulation, lifting Phoenix to a 108-105 win on Monday, Dec. 8, before a crowd of 16,046 at Target Center.

Tonight’s Peacock NBA Monday matchup features a showdown between the Phoenix Suns vs Minnesota Timberwolves. This is the second of three meetings between the two teams this season. The Suns won the last match-up 114-113 on November 21.

Phoenix Suns center Mark Williams led the charge in their hard-earned win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday.

“Since I’ve been here, I’ve been feeling good and feel like I’m producing and I am only going to continue to get better. It’s been great here.” Williams added that Dillon Brooks has been an important to the Suns’ success this season and that his energy has been contagious throughout the rest of the team.

The Phoenix Suns handed the San Antonio Spurs their first loss of the season on Nov. 2 at Mortgage Matchup Center, and defeated them again on Nov. 23.
